Folayemi Agusto is an entrepreneur and operator with more than a decade of experience building consumer products and live experiences across Africa.

As co-founder and CEO of Tix, she is building event-tech infrastructure for Africa's live events industry. Tix powers ticketing for more than 50,000 event organisers across Nigeria, Ghana and the UK. Folayemi is an alumna of Endeavor Nigeria's scale-up program and placed second in the 2025 Naspers and Prosus Tech FoundHER Africa Challenge. Tix is backed by the inaugural Google for Startups Black Founders Fund in Africa, took part in Google for Startups Accelerator Africa, and won NBA Africa's first Triple-Double Accelerator.

Her path into technology started with culture. She co-founded Eat.Drink.Lagos, which grew from a food blog into the city's go-to dining guide, and EatDrinkFestival, one of Lagos's first food festivals. Running live events herself is what led her to build Tix, and she is excited to keep building the tools that make live experiences in Africa easier to run and better to attend.
